*8 hour shoot day
Shoot Location: NYC
Usage: Music video for a well known jazz musician, released on all band social platforms. No commercial usage.
SUMMARY: This music video for a well known jazz musician is focused around a single day inside a relaxed city cafe (French inspired with lots of character) where time stretches, warps, and folds. From quiet sunrise to after-hours intimacy, the café becomes a liminal stage where emotion and memory drift in and out as the band performs throughout.
ROLES: LEAD WOMAN: Age 27-35 expressive, ethereal. Women with dance and movement backgrounds strongly encouraged to apply as we will see this character running through the street, and moving through a cafe.
DOMINOS GUY: Male, ages 55-85, great character face. Actors who are comfortable with movement or have a dance background are strongly encouraged to apply. A man sits alone at a table, playing dominoes with himself. He checks the wall clock obsessively, waiting for something or someone that never arrives. We see him share a slow, simple, beautiful dance in the cafe.
WAITRESS: Female, age 27-35. Women with dance and movement backgrounds strongly encouraged to apply. A waitress stands behind the counter pouring coffee. Her mind is clearly elsewhere, the coffee overflows the cup, then the counter, continuing without end. She shares a simple, beautiful dance with a man in the cafe.
