Jones & Juliet Casting is casting NYC based Chinese women 50-95+ who are comfortable with simple, low-intensity movement or dance: this could be women with Tai Chi experience or aerobic style of movement and dance. You do not need to be an expert or professional dancer or mover – just comfortable moving with some instruction in simple sequences. Experience with simple Tai Chi movements is a bonus.
We are ALSO casting Tai Chi practitioners/teachers (men and women) and dance instructors. This is a non-union ad for a major clothing retailer celebrating Lunar New Year and Chinese community and culture.
No acting or modeling experience is required. If possible we would love to find a group of people who regularly practice Tai Chi or other dance forms together. We will be booking 10-15 women.
Multilingual instructors and dancers who speak English and Mandarin, Cantonese or other Chinese languages a strong plus.
$1000 for a one day shoot (up to 8 hrs) & usage, $400 for one day rehearsal & fitting,
+20% if represented by an agency. If usage is renewed, talent will be paid $1000+10%
step up for an additional 3 months of usage

fitting, +20% if represented by an agency. If usage is renewed, on-camera talent will be
